Announcement of equipments are sending to each and every districts of Manipur was made in the mid year of 2007. And installation of these equipments also took time. All the equipments has been delivered here by september 2007. And it was installed in all the districts by February 2008 except imphal east district which installation is pending due to non availability of site for installation.<br /><br />There was an issue for non delivery of edusat equipment for SSU. And It was received quite late, delayed for around six months.<br /><br />All the VSAT installed is working fine so far rather than finding some minor faulty equipment parts like faults in UPS , Modems.<br /><br />Internet connectivity is also established from somewhere february ,march 2008 through BSNL Broadband. Tamenglong site is not yet connected yet for their region telephone wiring is not done for internet set up.<br /><br />To look after this IT infrastructure established in each and every districts, We datamanagers have been choosen. The recruitment of one datamanager and one deo for each district was done by NIC.<br /><br />I am listing here what activities so far we datamanagers do for IDSP<br /><br />** attending of livemate learning class telecast on edusat system through edusat network.<br /><br />** participation of training through vc<br /><br />** compilation and sending of weekly reports namely early warning signal report,quarantinable weekly report,P form S form L1,L2 forms reports.<br /><br />** lodging complaint of any faulty equipments.<br /><br />From September 2008, we have started sending weekly report .
